HUSBAND and wife music teachers have been jailed for a sexual threesome with a 14-year-old female student.
Victorian County Court Judge John Barnett said the pair were serious sex offenders, a legal category that caries a heavier penalty.
Trevor John Alexander, 40, will serve a minimum 2 1/2 years of a 4 1/2 year sentence after being found guilty of sexual penetration of a child and indecent acts.
His wife, Elspeth McKenzie, 27, will serve at least nine months of an 18-month sentence.
Both engaged in sexual acts with Alexander's former student at his Brighton home, while they were working as casual music teachers at private Wesley College in the mid 1990s. -- AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATED PRESS
