Dr Pell's identity unless proven guilty should be confidential

IN the media at the moment the allegations of sexual abuse of a girl/woman by a well-known WA personality is being handled with due care.
The identities of both parties remain confidential.
In contrast, Sydney Catholic Archbishop George Pell has had his name and character bandied around.

The media has had a field day. Strangely, his accuser is shrouded in secrecy.
Surely, in the interests of a fair go, the media should have given equal treatment to both parties. Tall-poppy syndrome?
